SPOOLS
Each thread comes wound on a signature Violette spool. Hand crafted in studio from Tasmanian Oak and Mother of Pearl (otherwise known as nacre), our spools have been beautifully designed to be kept and treasured. Mother of Pearl is a naturally formed material produced by molluscs, therefore each spool is unique, featuring organic textures and patterns in iridescent shades of white, champagne and grey, some mottled with flecks of brown. -
In order to minimise waste and provide a consistently available catalogue, most of our products are in some part made to order. Due to this, and the hand crafted nature of our products, our order processing and lead times may vary. Please refer to our announcement bar on the home page to see our current production time estimates. In some cases, such as with large or custom orders, we may have longer production lead times.
